CHEMPRO Engineering Suite provides advanced technology for the design and analysis of process piping systems. This comprehensive process engineering software suite was judged by an independent panel of industry experts to receive Chemical Processing Magazines 2001 Vaaler Award for its significant industry contribution. In today’s challenging environment of shrinking resources and aging plants, CHEMPRO is helping plant sites improve reliability, lower costs, and enhance process safety. CHEMPRO is designed to analyze process systems under both normal operation and upset, relief conditions to insure safety, health, and environmental integrity. This includes analysis of complex multi-stream systems with hundreds of pipes and nodes. Equipment data analyzed in CHEMPRO is stored in the EQUIL database to better manage process equipment assets at the plant site. The API Technical Database and API Specification Database software packages developed by EPCON for API directly link with CHEMPRO to characterize petroleum streams and provide standard API data sheets.
