SimaPro is a tool to collect, analyse and monitor environmental information for the products and services. Complex life cycles can be easily modelled and analysed in a clear and transparent way following the ISO 14040 series recommendations. SimaPro is used to screen products for environmental improvements from the first stages of development up to the realisation phase. Life Cycle Assessments of existing products can be made to discover environmental hotspots and compare options for improvements. SimaPro is also used to calculate Eco-indicator scores for commonly used components, materials and processes.
